Process Description

Statistics for Rows

The Statistics for Rows process computes row-by-row statistics for a data set and can also compute statistics for groups of columns and filter rows based on these statistics. The process generates an output data set containing the input data set with additional columns corresponding to the computed statistics.

What do I need?

Any SAS data set containing numerical variables. An optional Experimental Design Data Set (EDDS) can be specified.

For an example, the adsl_diit.sas7bdat data set (found in the \LifeSciences\Sample Data\Nicardipine\ADaM directory included with JMP Genomics and JMP Clinical, and described in Nicardipine) is shown below. A new column is to be generated using the mean of all columns beginning with S_.

For detailed information about the files and data sets used or created by JMP Genomics software, see Files and Data Sets.

Output/Results

Refer to the Statistics for Rows output documentation for a detailed description of the output of this process.
