Genetic Distance Break Value
Specify a genetic distance value (in centiMorgans (cM)) to use for further breaking groups. If the genetic distance between two ordered markers in a linkage group exceeds this threshold, the group is broken into two groups between those markers.
Note the following:
One linkage group can be broken into multiple (>=2) linkage groups.
A marker with a genetic distance greater than the specified value with both flanking markers is placed into a singleton group and dropped out of the analysis.
To Specify a Genetic Distance Break Value:
*
*
Select Genetic Distance as the Break linkage groups based on: option to activate this field.
*
Type a value, between 0 and 200 inclusive, into the Genetic Distance Break Value text box.
