Framework Marker Name Variable

Use this field to specify the variable in the Framework Map Data Set containing values that match to column names of the marker variables in the Input SAS Data Set .

This variable must be specified so that the marker framework map can be correctly merged to the marker recombination matrix for forming linkage groups while honoring Framework Map groups.

To Specify the Framework Marker Name Variable:

Specify the Framework Map Data Set .

All of the variables in the specified data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable containing values that match to column names of the marker variables.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Framework Marker Name Variable field, as shown below:
