Lower and Upper x -Axis Values for Noise Intervals
Specify lower and upper and x -axis values indicating one or more sections of the spectra used to estimate the magnitude of noise.
You can specify one or more interval(s) from which to estimate noise variance . For example:
Specifying 2000 2500 estimates noise using all data whose X -axis values fall between 2,000 and 2,500.
Specifying 2000 2500 19500 20000 estimates noise using all data whose X -axis values fall between 2,000 and 2,500, or between 19,500 and 20,000.
One way to assess appropriate values is to run the 2D Plot process and determine sections of the spectra that appear to be pure noise.
To Specify Lower and Upper x -Axis Values for Noise Intervals:
*
Type one or more pairs of lower and upper X -axis values, separated by spaces , into the text field.
