Number of Variables to Process at a Time

Use this option to specify the number of variables to process together as a unit when calculating IBS or AS. Relationship matrices for the units are then added together.

This option is particularly useful when you are working with very wide data sets where the large number of calculations needed might otherwise exceed the available memory of your machine.

If your data set contains missing data and has more variables than the size specified here, the final computed IBS or AS matrix is an approximation to the full relationship matrix, depending on the missing data patterns.
