Type of Trait
The pull down menu allows the user to specify the type of trait defined by the variable listed in the Trait Variable field.
Note : This parameter is unavailable for selection unless a trait variable has been specified.
The specified trait variable defines a dichotomous trait . This variable can be either character or numeric, but it must have only two values (in addition to “missing”).
The specified trait variable defines a continuous trait with an undetermined number of variables continuously distributed within a defined range.
The analysis is performed using either SAS PROC LOGISTIC (when no random effects are specified) or SAS PROC GLIMMIX (when random effects are specified).
