Cluster Variable

Use this field to indicate the variable whose values determine cluster membership for each marker.

This variable is required to run the process when the option Add markers dropped out from marker reduction analysis back to the linkage groups is checked but is not used otherwise.

Note : This variable is named _KMCluster_ in those cases where the input SAS data set was generated using the Recombination and Linkage Groups process.

To Specify the Cluster Variable:

Specify the Input SAS Data Set .

All of the variables in the specified input data set are displayed in the Available Variables field.

Examine the list of available variables.

Highlight the variable whose values identify the clusters.

Click to add the highlighted variable to the Cluster Variable field, as shown below:
