Principal Components Analysis
Running this process for the DrosophilaAgingExample sample setting generates the tabbed Results window shown below. Refer to the Principal Components Analysis process description for more information. Output from the process is organized into tabs. Each tab contains one or more plots, data panels, data filters, and so on, that facilitate your analysis.
The Results window contains the following panes:
Tab Viewer
This pane provides you with a space to view individual tabs within the Results window. Use the tabs to access and view the output plots and associated data sets.
The following tabs are generated by this process:
PCA 2D Row Scores: Two-dimensional plots of the rowwise components.
PCA 3D Row Scores: Three-dimensional plots of the rowwise components
PCA 2D Column Scores: Two-dimensional plots of the columnwise components
PCA 3D Column Scores: Three-dimensional plots of the columnwise components
SAS Output : This is a text-based output directly from SAS PROC PLS and provides detailed statistics on the principal components analysis. This is accomplished by specifying the same variables as both the dependent variables. (y) and Model Effects (x). The output contains summary details of the algorithm as well as breakdown of the percent variation accounted for by each component. Refer to the documentation for SAS PROC PLS for more information.
