Variables Defining Analysis Groups

Select variables from the Experimental Design SAS Data Set that distinguish sets of columns or samples considered to be distinct groups for analysis.

•	If only one analysis group is designated for control samples (One Set of Control Samples reference computation method), then the values for each column in this parameter field that indicate controls should be specified as Control Levels.

•	If multiple sets of controls are used for different groups of samples, then a subset of the columns specified here must be specified to define the control sets within the analysis groups.

To Specify Variables Defining Analysis Groups:

Specify an Experimental Design SAS Data Set.

The Available Variables field is populated with variables from the specified data set.

Highlight a single variable, or hold down Ctrl while left-clicking on multiple variables, from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the selected variable(s) to the Variables Defining Analysis Groups field.
