Nearby Marker Recombination Constraint
Use this text box to specify a value of a pairwise recombination fraction to use as a constraint in the Map Order Optimization method for allowing two markers to be placed in order next to each other.
The algorithm will use this value to try to avoid placing markers that are genetically far apart next to each other. At times this constraint might have to be violated for a given complex linkage group, but this value will help to reduce the iterations and time computation for achieving the optimal map.
Note: For some problems, a low constraint could make the optimization infeasible; at which time the threshold should be raised to a larger value.
