Type of Trait
The pull down menu allows the user to specify the type of trait defined by the variable listed in the Trait Variable field.
Note: This parameter is unavailable for selection unless a trait variable has been specified.
The specified trait variable defines a dichotomous trait. This variable can be either character or numeric, but it must have only two values (in addition to “missing”).
The analysis is performed using either SAS PROC LOGISTIC (when no random effects are specified) or SAS PROC GLIMMIX (when random effects are specified).
The specified trait variable defines a continuous trait with an undetermined number of variables continuously distributed within a defined range.
The analysis is performed using either SAS PROC LOGISTIC (when no random effects are specified) or SAS PROC GLIMMIX (when random effects are specified).
