Block Partition Variable

Use this field to specify the name of a variable in the Input SAS Data Set that indicates the specific blocks to use for the Block Partition Hold-Out Method.

The values of this variable must be positive integers (1, 2, 3, and so on). When you specify this variable, values of K, L, and P are ignored.

To Specify the Block Partition Variable:

Specify Block Partition as the Hold-Out Method to activate the Block Partition Variable field.

Type the name of the desired variable in the text field.
