Weight for Censored Observations

Use this option to specify a weight to apply to the censored observations during model fitting.

Specified weights are typically less than 1. This provides a way to lessen the influence of the censored measurements on the model fit. Non-censored values are assumed to have a weight of 1. The default value of 1 is equivalent to no weighting.

Note: If you also specify a Weight Variable on the General tab, then its values for censored observations are multiplied by the value specified here.¹
