Compare Linkage Maps
The Compare Linkage Maps process draws a graphical representation of the differences and similarities of genetic markers and their positions in two linkage maps.
What do I need?
Two Input Linkage Map SAS Data Sets are required. These data sets should contain variables to specify linkage groups or chromosomes, markers, and their positions (measured in centiMorgans) in the map.
Tip: These data sets can be created by the Linkage Map Order process or generated by another program and imported into JMP Genomics.
The CompareMapExample.sas7bdat data set serves as an example, and is shown below.
For detailed information about the files and data sets used or created by JMP Life Sciences software, see Files and Data Sets.
Output/Results
The output generated by this process is summarized in a Tabbed report. Refer to the Compare Linkage Maps output documentation for detailed descriptions and guides to interpreting your results.
