JMP Clinical Basics | Introduction | Review Packages

Review Packages
After you generate results from one or more processes, you can easily share them with other JMP Clinical users by packaging those results into a review package. A review package is a zipped JMP add-in (.jmpaddin file) containing an output review (JMP journal (.jrn file)), along with the output files and data sets. You can also include study input data and metadata, notes, and subject filters, if you choose.
Creating a Review Package
*
From the Clinical Starter, click the Studies category. Launch the Review Builder.
*
Important: Ensure that you check the Create review package box on the Review Builder dialog. Refer to the Click on the buttons to open the results for the selected processes. process description and its dialog help (?) links for more information.
A JMP Message window (shown below) opens, showing the name and path to the Review Package.
*
Click Open Output Folder to retrieve the review package from the study output folder and send it to another JMP Clinical user.
Tip: Refer to the Create review package box description for details about locating the study output folder.
Installing, Viewing, and Uninstalling a Review Package
Installing a Review Package
A JMP Clinical review package typically is named using the following format: Workflow_ReviewPackageName.jmpaddin. A sample review package is shown below.
*
To install a review package in JMP Clinical, you can either drag it onto the Clinical Starter window, or double-click on it (assuming that the JMP .jmpaddin file association has been properly made on your operating system).
You are prompted to confirm the installation.
*
Click Install.
If study data is included in the package, an Add Study dialog momentarily surfaces and runs to install the included study data on your machine.
The review (Journal) is surfaced.
*
*
Viewing an Installed Review Package
Once a review package is installed on your machine, you can view it again at any time by accessing the Reviews menu on the menu bar.
*
Click Reviews.
*
The review is surfaced.
Uninstalling a Review Package
When you determine that you no longer have a need for viewing a particular review, you can easily remove it from the Reviews menu.
*
*
Click Add-Ins....
The Add-In Status dialog is surfaced.
*
If you merely want to remove the review from the Reviews menu, but want to retain the option of easily adding it back to the Reviews menu, uncheck the Enabled box.
*
If you want to further remove the review from the Add-In Status dialog, click Unregister.
Note: Clicking Unregister does not delete the review package data from your machine. To delete review package data from your machine, navigate to your JMP user Addins folder1 and delete the corresponding review package folder (for example, com.jmp.Clinical.Nicardipine).
