Launch the Reliability Forecast platform by selecting Analyze > Reliability and Survival > Reliability Forecast. The initial window is shown in Reliability Forecast Launch Window.
Contract data is commonly stored in the Nevada format: shipment or production dates and failure counts within specified periods are shaped like the state of Nevada. Example of the Nevada Format shows the Small Production.jmp sample data table.
Example of the Dates Format shows the SmallProduction part1.jmp and SmallProduction part2.jmp sample data tables.

The Time to Event format shows production and failure data (Example of the Time to Event Format). Unlike the Nevada and Dates formats, Time to Event data does not include date-time information, such as production or failure dates. This format accommodates arbitrary censoring schemes in the data.
To obtain a data set convenient for Time to Event Format, open SmallProduction.jmp, found in the Reliability subfolder. Run the data table script Nevada Format. From the Reliability Forecast report’s red triangle menu, select Save Data in Time to Event Format.
