Save Platform Preferences

You can customize your platform and then save the settings to your preferences. This way, your preferred settings are saved without you having to open File > Preferences and individually setting each preference.

Note: Not all preferences can be saved. The Save Preference Changes dialog displays which settings changed and can be saved.

Complete the following steps:

1. Configure the platform.

2. On the red triangle menu, select Platform Preferences > Save Changes to. A window similar to the following is displayed:

3. Deselect any options that you do not want to save.

4. Click OK.

Your preferences have been updated with the new values. Preferences are usually only referenced when a platform starts (or reruns). If you made changes in the dialog, your new preferences may not be active until you rerun the platform.
