In the JMP Data Filter, there are three modes of filtering: Select, Show, and Include. You can set and clear these modes using the corresponding check boxes.
Select
(Not available for the Local Data Filter.) Shows the selected rows in the data table in a highlighted state.
You can turn off the automatic selection of this option by using the Data Filter Select Mode preference. See also “Preferences for JMP Data Filters”.
Show
Shows the rows that are not selected thathave the Hide icon (
).
You can turn on the automatic selection of this option by using the Data Filter Show Mode preference. For more information about row states, see “Preferences for JMP Data Filters”.
Include
Shows the rows that are not selected thathave the Exclude icon (
).
You can turn on the automatic selection of this option by using the Data Filter Include Mode preference. For more information about row states, see “Preferences for JMP Data Filters”.
