Usage Note 36638: If I change my columns from ordinal to nominal or vice versa, my parameter estimates do not match. Why?
This is due to the different parameterizations JMP® uses for the two column types. See Appendix B in the JMP Fitting Linear Models book for more information
on the exact parameterizations. The parameter estimates differ, but the predicted values from the two models are consistent.
