The JSL Mail function is used to send an e-mail message to alert a user about a condition in JMP^® on Windows operating systems. If the mail program, such as Microsoft Outlook, and JMP are of different bit architecture, the following error might appear:

    Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the 
    messaging request.  Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client. 

If you are running the 64-bit version of JMP, then you would need to have the 64-bit version of Microsoft Outlook in order for the JSL Mail function to send the e-mail message.
