Developers Blogging About New Version »
The very people who create our software are blogging about the new capabilities they worked on and love using. And that includes John Sall, the chief architect of JMP and co-founder of SAS. In recent posts, Sall shares the major themes for the development of JMP 12, works through an example using the revamped Recode and shows the new Query Builder. Other JMP development staff cover interactive HTML, new options in data visualization, improvements to the DOE platform, and much more. Look for two JMP 12 posts a week at the JMP Blog.

Have you tried... »
...Recode in JMP 12? JMP 12 has added several new features to Recode to make data prep easier. The overhauled Recode tool has been expanded with automatic data cleaning algorithms and an improved user interface for manual cleaning tasks. For example, the Group Similar Values function identifies errors in the data table and groups them, outputting its best guess at the correct spelling for the group. Check out our video to learn about that Group Similar Values setting and hear more about this Recode upgrade.
