Create Subject Filter

This option generates a subject-specific filter that can be applied to all subsequent reports run on the data for the study. Only those patients specified by the filter are carried through the analyses.

To Create a Subject Filter

Click to open the Subject Explorer/Review Subject Filter window. This can be done either on The Studies Tab of the JMP Clinical Main Window, or at the top of an open report. The window lists the USUBJID identifier for all of the subjects in the study.

Use your mouse to highlight subjects to be included in the analysis, as shown below:

Click to open the Create Subject Filter window.

Enter a name1 Filter names must conform to the Rules for SAS Data Set Names. for your filter and click OK.

Output/Results

The subject filter is saved and can be used for this study with any report

Tip: To apply the filter, select a Select saved subject filter from any report dialog.

Note: Subject filters can be deleted using the Manage Subject Filters option.
