Position Variable

Specify the position variable, whose values serve one of the following purposes, depending on the process:

Index the order of observations for binning.

•

Indicate position on a linkage group or chromosome, or genetic position.

For copy number data, this variable is commonly called position or physical position.

When this variable is specified along with a {link}{Emphasis}Chromosome Variable (where available), -log10 p-value results are plotted by chromosome and position.

To Specify a Position Variable:

Specify an {link}{Emphasis}Input SAS Data Set.

The Available Variables field is populated with variables from the specified data set.

Left-click a variable from the Available Variables field.

Click to add the selected variable to the Position Variable field.
