List of percent cut off (one value per generation)

Use this option to specify a list of numerical values (between 0 and 100) indicating the cut-off to select progenies based on the selection percent.

Only the progenies in the selected subset will be crossed to produce the next breeding generation. For each generation specified in the Generations tab there must be a numeric value, separated by blank spaces.

Every cross, in a given generation, will have the same cut off value to select simulated progenies. For instance, if there are three generations, then a list of integers "25 35 45" (without quotes) sets the analysis to select progenies either in the top (high values) or lower (low values) 25%, 35%, 45% in the first, second, and third generation, respectively.

Note: Values entered here must be positive.

Note: This option is available only when either a single scoring code file is specified or, if there are multiple scoring code files, a selection index has been computed.

To Specify the Percent Cut Off Values:

8      Make sure that the Simulate multiple generations option has been checked.
8      Select Percent Selection as the Progeny Selection Method.
8      Specify the selection direction using the Choose the selection direction option.
8      Enter the desired cut off value for each generation in the text box. Be sure to leave a blank space between each value.

In the example shown here, we want to select progeny with grater than 50%, 75%, and 85% similarity to the recurrent parent in the first, second, and third generation, respectively. Enter 0.50 0.75 0.85 in the text box as shown below:
