Example of a CDF Plot

1.

Select Help > Sample Data Library and open Analgesics.jmp.

2.

Select Analyze > Fit Y by X.

3.

Select pain and click Y, Response.

4.

Select drug and click X, Factor.

5.

6.

From the red triangle menu, select CDF Plot.

The levels of the X variables in the initial Oneway analysis appear in the CDF plot as different curves. The horizontal axis of the CDF plot uses the y value in the initial Oneway analysis.
