Image shown hereSpecify a Nonparametric or Estimated Distribution

The Nonparametric and Estimated options under Distribution enable you to approximate an arbitrary distribution. You can enter data manually or import a file that contains data. These data are used to approximate the distribution.

After selecting Nonparametric or Estimated, click the Image shown here icon next to Data. The Provide Data window appears, which enables you to either enter data or import a data file. After you have imported or entered your data, the data are used to calculate a distribution for the component.
