Current Batch
This section contains a table that lists the factor combinations that are selected to be included in the current batch, along with a column that explains the reason the combination was selected. Initially, the number of rows in this table equals the Number of Batch Runs to Autoselect value that is specified in the launch window. If you select an option in the Batch Optimization Batch Customizer section to add factor combinations to the current batch, those factor combinations also appear in the table.
The Current Batch section also contains options for where to save the current batch.
Make Table Options
Provides options for where the current batch is saved.
Create New Data Table
Creates a new data table that contains the original data and the new factor combinations. The columns that are specified in the Include Options section are also included in the data table.
Append to Original Data Table
Adds new rows and columns to the original data table. The new rows contain the new factor combinations and the new columns contain the metrics that are specified in the Include Options section.
Randomize Runs
If this option is selected, the factor combinations in the current batch table are randomized prior to being added to the specified data table. This option is selected by default.
Include Options
Provides options for which columns and scripts are included in the data table when the current batch is saved.
– Save desirability function values to columns (selected by default)
– Save startup script for batch selection to data table (selected by default)
Note: This is the same script that is saved to the data table when the Save Script for Next Iteration red triangle menu is selected. See Save Script for Next Iteration.
– Include observed desirabilities
– Include original candidate set row indices
– Include reason added column (selected by default)
– Include predicted response values
– Include prediction standard deviations
– Include Bayesian desirability expected improvement column
Make Table
Generates a new data table or updates your current data table as specified.
