Model Launch Control PanelIn the Fit Causal Treatment report, the Model Launch control panel enables you to further specify the methods used to estimate causal effects. These specifications differ depending on the treatment type.
Note: The Model Launch control panel appears only if a treatment model is specified.
When the treatment is binary, the Model Launch control panel contains the following options:
IPW Extreme Weight Truncation Threshold
(Appears when the treatment model is specified.) Enables you to truncate the weight values of observations with calculated weights above the specified threshold. See IPW Extreme Weight Truncation Threshold.
Stabilized Weights
(Appears when only the treatment model is specified.) Enables you to use stabilized weights in propensity score calculations. See Stabilized Weights.
Advanced Models
Enables you to perform nearest neighbors propensity score matching. See Advanced Models.
When the treatment is continuous, the Model Launch control panel contains the following options:
• Treatment Level Minimum
• Treatment Level Maximum
• Treatment Level Increment
These specifications change the levels of treatment considered in parts of the Generalized Propensity Score Model Results and the Causal Assumptions Check sections in the Model report.
When you click Go in the Model Launch control panel, a new Model report is created. The title of the report reflects the order in which the models were fit. You can return to the Model Launch control panel to perform additional analyses, choose different estimation methods when the treatment is binary, and specify different treatment levels for analysis when the treatment is continuous.
