Select File > Export or File > Save As to save a data table in another format such as a Microsoft Excel or CSV file.
Note: To save a data table as a journal, select Edit > Journal and then File > Save As.
JMP saves data tables in the formats that are listed in Table 11.1.

You can also save files for types that have a corresponding Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) driver. See Save Data Tables to a Database.
Notes:
• The maximum length of the data table’s name depends on your computer’s operating system. See your operating system’s documentation for details.
• JMP tries to save any modified files when a crash is detected.
