Image shown hereThe Covering Array Data Table

The Covering Array data table contains a Response column where you can enter the response. The remaining columns give the factor settings.

The Table panel in the upper left contains a Design note that indicates the design is a Covering Array and gives the Strength of the design. The Table panel also contains the following scripts:

DOE Dialog

Opens a Covering Array window with the settings that you used to generate the design table.

Disallowed Combinations

(Available only when factor level restrictions are defined.) Contains the factor level restrictions that you entered in the Restrict Factor Level Combinations section. Right-click the script name and select edit to view the disallowed combinations.

Analysis

(Available when the Response data column contains study results with at least one failure.) Opens an analysis report. The report includes options for Bayesian Fault Localization (BayesFLo) analysis. For more information about the script, see Analysis Script. For background, see Zhang and Zhang (2011) and Ji et al. (2025).

DOE Simulate

(Available only if the Simulate Response option is selected when generating the covering away design.) Opens a window to specify the simulation of failures for your design.
