Test Your JMP® Knowledge »
Did you know? If you spend time coloring, marking, selecting, and excluding rows and want to make sure that work is saved, you should create a row state column. Then you can color, mark, exclude, etc., all you want, and you can always get back to the stored states.
Jeff Perkinson, Customer Care Manager and JMP user since version 1, shared that tip and others in a new post, 10 More Things You Don't Know About JMP, in the JMP User Community.
Here's another tip from his list: JMP normally orders categorical values alphabetically. For example, Before, During and After will come out as After, Before, During. If you want your values in a different order, you can use the Value Ordering column property.
Read all of the tips in full detail in Jeff's post. You'll also want to check out his previous post, 10 Things You Don't Know About JMP. And if you already knew one or some of his tips, good for you! Let him know in a comment and share your favorite tips.
