Designing Mixture Experiments - Part 2

Application Area:
Design of Experiments

See JMP mixture design options that support experimental situations where properties of a blend of components depend more on the relative proportions than on the absolute amounts being mixed. In Part 2, we address open questions from Part 1 and give an overview of the different families of designs: optimal, classical and modern (space filling). We introduce mixture-process designs, a class of mixture experiments that incorporates non-mixture factors such as  process, amount and type. A case study shows how to create an optimal custom design for a mixture-process experiment and contrast that with the experiment created using a  space filling design.

This webinar covers: creating an analyzing a designed experiment for mixtures with a continuous variable (process factor) and a comparison of optimal, classical and space filling designs.
