Kelci Miclaus

JMP Genomics Statistical Geneticist, SAS


Kelci Miclaus, PhD, is a Research Statistician Developer for JMP Genomics software from SAS. She researches and implements new statistical methods for analyzing genomic data that are incorporated in software releases of JMP Genomics.

Miclaus graduated summa cum laude from University of Missouri-Columbia with a major in statistics and a minor in psychology. She earned her PhD in statistics from North Carolina State University with a research emphasis on statistical genetics. While obtaining her degree, she worked part-time for SAS as a technical student testing JMP and JMP Genomics products.

She lives with her husband and two dogs in Cary, NC, and enjoys reading, traveling and the outdoors.
