Modeling Types

Description

Continuous Y by continuous X

Analyzes the relationship between two continuous variables. See Bivariate Analysis.

Oneway

Continuous Y by nominal or ordinal X

Analyzes how the distribution of a continuous Y variable differs across groups defined by a categorical X variable. See Oneway Analysis.

Logistic

Nominal or ordinal Y by continuous X

Fits the probabilities for response categories to a continuous X predictor. See Logistic Analysis.
