Genomic and other life sciences data are often biased by technical issues, batch effects that can be problematic for the meaningful analysis and interpretation of raw data. Normalization of your data helps minimize these biases, providing consistent and comparable results that can be used for performing exploratory data analysis and differential expression analysis. It enables you to evaluate and compare experimental results within and across samples.
The Normalization platform uses a variety of methods to normalize a table of raw data, and then saves the normalized data by either adding new columns to the main data table, creating a new JMP table, or replacing the raw data in the existing table.
