Christopher Nachtsheim, PhD, is Chair of Operations and Management Sciences at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He specializes in experimental design, regression and analysis of variance, and has co-written several related books, including Applied Linear Regression Models and Applied Linear Statistical Models. He teaches university courses and consults with government, oil and gas, consumer products, and the banking industries on experimental design and employing data analysis for decision making. He has served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Nachtsheim holds a PhD in operations research from the University of Minnesota and an MS in operations research and statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
