Image shown hereModel Information

The Model Information section in the Causal Treatment model report contains four tables: Model Details, Data Details, Adjustable Parameters, and Variable Specification. The Model Details and Data Details tables contain the same information regardless of treatment type. The Adjustable Parameters and Variable Specification tables vary depending on treatment type.

Model Details Table

Provides the following information about the models:

Outcome Variable

Shows the variable in the data table that was chosen as the outcome.

Outcome Distribution

Shows the distribution that was used to model the outcome.

Outcome Link Function

Shows the link function that was used to model the outcome.

Treatment Variable

Shows the variable in the data table that was chosen as the treatment.

Treatment Distribution

Shows the distribution that was used to model the treatment.

Estimation Method

Shows the estimation method that was used to calculate causal effects.

Data Details Table

Provides the following information about the data:

Number of Observations Read

Shows the number of observations in the data table.

Number of Observations Used

Shows the number of observations in the data table that are included for analysis. Observations are excluded from the analysis if there are missing values for variables that are used to specify the treatment and response models.

Adjustable Parameters Table

Provides the following information, depending on the treatment type:

IPW Extreme Weight Truncation Threshold

(Appears only when the treatment is binary and a treatment model is specified.) Shows the default or specified weight truncation threshold that was used in the analysis. See IPW Extreme Weight Truncation Threshold.

Treatment Level Minimum

(Appears only when the treatment is continuous.) Shows the lowest treatment level that is displayed in Model report visualizations and tables.

Treatment Level Maximum

(Appears only when the treatment is continuous.) Shows the highest treatment level that is displayed in Model report visualizations and tables.

Treatment Level Increment

(Appears only when the treatment is continuous.) Shows which increments between the treatment level minimum and treatment level maximum to display in Model report visualization and tables.

Stabilized Weight Used

Shows whether stabilized weights were used for the analysis.

Alpha Level

Shows the significance level that was considered in the analysis.

Variable Specification Table

Provides the following information:

Treatment Model

Shows the variables that were used to specify the treatment model.

Response Model

Shows the variables that were used to specify the response model. If the treatment is continuous, the specific formulas that were used to perform marginal structural modeling and generalized propensity score modeling are shown.
