Jian Cao, PhD, is a Principal Systems Engineer with the Global Technical Enablement Team at JMP Statistical Discovery, which creates interactive and highly visual statistical discovery software designed for scientists and engineers. Jian joined JMP in 2006, supporting customers across industries with a focus on advanced statistics and predictive modeling.

From 2001 to 2006, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a business consultant and served as manager of statistical applications for a software company. Prior to that, he worked at AT&T providing analytical support for sales, marketing and business planning. Jian began his career as a research scientist at AT&T Bell Labs.
