Xan Gregg, Distinguished Engineering Fellow, focuses on data visualization within JMP Development. He created Graph Builder, JMP’s platform for drag-and-drop interactive graph creation and data exploration. Xan continues to spearhead many user productivity initiatives, including transform columns, header graphs, interactive data cleaning, and action recording.

In 2006, Xan won first place in a world-wide data visualization competition and has been active in the online data visualization community ever since. He invented the packed bars chart type for high cardinality Pareto distributed data and makes all kinds of graphs that he shares on social media and his personal blog site, Raw Data Studies; he is also a regular blogger in the JMP Community.
