Hyde Miller joined JMP Statistical Discovery as a Systems Engineer after spending 35 years in the semiconductor industry. Hyde has been a JMP user for nearly two decades, specializing in yield enhancement and process optimization. He now works with customers to help solve their most pressing challenges. Hyde understands that using robust data analysis and visualization is critical for making optimal decisions throughout the product life cycles, from R&D to process scale-up, optimization, continuous improvement, reliability and cost reduction initiatives.
Prior to joining JMP, Hyde worked for Intersil, where he first began using JMP to increase product yield based on data mining algorithms, ultimately realizing a $2 million/year savings. Previously at Harris Semiconductor, Hyde used JMP as a key member of the Wireless Product Engineering team, responsible for developing the 802.11 radio. This technology enabled the world’s first WLAN computer communications.
