Can I use JMP software to export a SAS data set?

On all supported operating systems, a JMP data table can be saved as a SAS transport file which must be read into SAS using the XPORT engine. Only JMP Version 5 (or higher) for Windows can save a JMP data table as a SAS data set.

To save the JMP data table as a SAS file, select Save As from the File menu then select SAS Transport Files or SAS V7 Dataset. The SAS V7 Dataset option is available only for Windows with Version 5 (or higher).
