Chris Nachtsheim, PhD is Chair of Operations and Management Sciences at Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He specializes in experimental design, regression, and analysis of variance, and has co-authored several related books, including Applied Linear Regression Models and Applied Linear Statistical Models. He teaches university courses and consults with the government and with oil and gas, consumer products, and banking industries on experimental design and employing data analysis for decision making. He has served as an examiner for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. Dr. Nachtsheim holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of Minnesota, and an M.S. in Operations Research and Statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
