Stéphane Georges is a Senior Systems Engineer at JMP Statistical Discovery, which creates interactive and highly visual statistical discovery software for scientists and engineers. He helps scientists and engineers improve their performance through design of experiments (DOE), data visualization, and statistical analysis.
Prior to joining JMP, Stéphane worked at Clecim, an engineering and production company specializing in equipment for the flat products steel industry. During his 22 years at Clecim, he held positions in the development of control models for industrial facilities and process optimization.
Industrial process modeling naturally led him to the field of data science. In 2016, Stéphane discovered JMP and its alchemy with process modeling. In 2022, he won the prize for best paper at Discovery Summit Europe 2022. Stéphane has a degree in materials science and process engineering from Grenoble INP.
Discovery is the watchword of Stéphane’s life: statistical discovery for the professional part; cultural and culinary discovery for the personal part.
